Ironman UK 2020 has been cancelled because of Covid-19 so I’ll be aiming to complete the 2021 event - it’s on 4 July.

Hopefully you're here because you know I'm aiming to complete Ironman UK on 4 July 2021 and in doing so, I want to raise some money for Meningitis Now in memory of my cousin, Alisha Bartolini. Alisha passed away from meningitis in November 2014 - she was only 18.

Raising money for Meningitis Now will mean we can help the charity to continue to raise awareness of the dangers of meningitis, and support families who go through the same awful experience that Alisha's did.

If you don't know, an Ironman is a triathlon which consists of:
- 2.4 mile swim
- 112 mile bike ride
- 26.2 mile run

It's certainly the biggest endurance event I've ever considered doing, and there's a lot of training to do so I'm ready. Having the support of you and the knowledge that I'm doing it for a great cause will spur me on to do the best I can.
