Special memories of my beautiful grand-daughter,today that made me laugh.Remembering the time we were baking a Victoria sandwich cake,together at your house.We made the cake with lots of love,care and attention being so careful to the ingredients and making sure we didn't leave anything out. All went well and the cake cooked beautifully,we whipped the cream and spread the jam on the two halves, placed the cream in the middle of the cake then very carefully put the top half of the cake onto the bottom.Then stood back to admire our work of art,but then for some unknown reason,Alisha thought she would check the two halves were stuck together so she put her hand on the top of the cake and gave it a really good push down,and to my horror all the cream and jam came out and we had to serve the cake,in a slice with a spoon of jam and cream on the side.
