What a day
14th June 2015
Well what a day it was amazing, I set myself a goal of 1.45.
But it turned out to be one of those days, this time where everything went right, I breezed the first few miles, it was 7 miles before I knew it.
The weather was perfect for running, overcast but dry and not so much wind, or so I thought until we turned onto the front of the Mersey at 9 miles the first few miles were easy the last four were definitely a test, but I managed to keep a good pace and crossed the line in 1.39.32 on my watch hopefully be a few seconds less on the chip time.
Many thanks to everyone who sponsored me and great big thanks to Andy Huxley who kept me going on the last few windy miles.
