All discussions at work this morning were about how much we all enjoyed the day, what an inspiration it was to be involved with Alisha's charity, and when our next run would be! Coxy's doing an Ironman Triathlon in a few weeks, but he'll be on his own for that one! There were many congratulations from all our staff colleagues and a round of applause at staff briefing. A final thank you to all our sponsors for the money raised. The current total is £1531.25, but the fund will stay open and we still have some more cash donations rolling in and other amounts promised. Thanks again for your generosity and support. Thanks also to Sean & Michaela's family for the welcome home party yesterday. We had a good few drinks and raised a glass to Alisha who was our inspiration on the day. After a great day in Leeds we are all back at Sean & Michaela's for food and drinks, celebrating after the run. Times as follows - Coxy 1.44, Captain Morgan 1.52, Brads and Griff 1.55, Tay 2.20 All back in one piece and enjoying a beer or two.

Just a couple of beers with our pre-race meal last night - well you've got to drink something! All looking forward to the run and a memorable day. Michaela is with us of course and is overwhelmed by the love shown for Alisha by your messages and donations - now over £1450. Runners gathering in Leeds today for tomorrow's run at the RunforAll Jane Tomlinson Plusnet Leeds Half Marathon. As ready as we'll ever be and looking forward to the run tomorrow and the beer afterwards. The cash keeps rolling in and we are humbled by the generosity of all our friends, families, work colleagues and pupils, and everyone else who has donated. We now have over £1300 which will go to the Meningitis Now charity in memory of Alisha. Thank you all so much for your kindness and support of this great cause.

All 5 runners, including Sean, are well on with their training and looking forward to Sunday in Leeds. We will be taking in a pre-race meal with the WAGS at Carluccios Italian Restaurant in Leeds on Saturday afternoon, followed by an early night with no beer!
